I didn’t know true joy until the first time I had a Nutella financier. You can’t be sad eating a morning bun- it’s like a sweet decadent croissant hugging itself with layers of cinnamon sugar. A breakfast dish with hot sauce will enliven even the sleepiest weekend warrior. I can go on. Blacksmiths uses simply the best ingredients, made and served by the most genuinely kind humans. Catch them at a farmers market with fresh bread so you can sprinkle happiness throughout your weekly meals

Fantastic new bread and breakfast spot featuring all coffees by the fabulous Stumptown Coffee Roasters! I had a croissant with my iced coffee and it was seriously one of the best criissants I've ever had that was not in France. Highly recommend! They bake all their breads and desserts on the premisis and in an open kitchen. Love it!!!!

Quaint bakery/cafe in the West End of Long Beach with great bread, a tasty food menu and exceptional coffee. Eat-in or grab something quick to-go and you will not be disappointed. While the seating may be limited, the charming decor is very inviting for a sit-in meal. The breakfast burrito (with chorizo) is one of my favorite meals in town - the flavor of the pickled veggies is noteworthy.

Blacksmith’s Breads is a true gem and staple of Long Beachs west end. The baked goods, meals, and coffee are all excellent. The staff are all always a pleasure to talk to and Ray is an absolute gentlemen. We came in a bit late and missed out on our favorite treats, Morning Buns. Ray told us to come back in an hr for our own person order! Thank you for making my kids day! Well worth a visit for coffee, breakfast, or any baked goods!

I'm in town visiting family and had the chance to check out a few local spots that came highly recommended. Blacksmiths Breads was one of the breakfast places on my list.. and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The coffee was spot-on and the croissant was perfectly soft, buttery, and fresh. Everything hit the mark. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch, quick breakfast spot. 10/10!

We got a morning bun and an iced strawberry matcha latte! Both were great! The morning bun was really fluffy, crunchy, and delicously sweet! Excited to try more of their breads in the future

I thought the food was great i got shumai - SO GOOD steamed chicken - because sometimes you need that in your life. hot and sour soup- so good! Every restaurant goes through a bad day with food that just doesnt sit well with you so i won't judge a place based on one review. i wouldve give it 5 stars (the food was really that good) but the wait to order and the wait for the actual food was too long. I waited 10 min for chinese tops! i was here for 20.... Call ahead, expect to wait but end up with yummy food! And they serve japanese (sushi) as well!
